With Microsoft in a hurry to end its Windows XP sales there is some possibly slight good news for XP fans. Windows XP Home Edition will now be sold for 2 more years on budget laptops. Microsoft has stated they have decided to do this because of "strong demand" for the product. The Associated Press seems to be saying that XP will be available for a full year after the next version of Windows is released. We will see how it all turns out as I don't believe anybody knows for sure when XP sales will disappear. I've been told many different end dates on the XP sales as a retailer and none of them have stuck yet.
