GTA IV on PCWell guys it looks like Rockstar Games has officially announced that GTA IV will be coming out for the PC. The game is now released for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 and is selling like hotcakes. All of you anti console people can now be up with the trendy Grand Theft Auto series. They have confirmed that the PC version of the game will feature multiplayer modes and I'm sure all of the modding community will help make it even better. The release dates are set for November 18 for the United States and November 21 for Europe. Oh, and I must not forget to mention that sadly Mac users will be left out in this series, no worries though you still don't get viruses...

As you can all tell MyPCMod has a new style and mascot. I hope you all like the new feel. It's much easier to navigate and gives us more room for content. We are still tweaking a few small areas but overall the layout is about finished. If you notice any major bugs please e-mail me. I also would like to hear any comments on the new look!

I felt like doing something special today, so I showed my appreciation for MyPCMod by etching it into the side of my computer.

In the release the awaited Phenom X4 9850, AMD hopes to leave some of the problems that plaged the earlier revisions of the AMD quad behind. Problems such as the TLB bug which hobbled the performance. AMD is also going back to the X4 naming convention that they toyed with before the Phenom launch. Phenoms will now carry the X4 designation for quads and X3 for tri-cores (quads with a faulty core disabled). The Phenom X4 9850 ships with a 2.5GHz clock speed and should be avaliable in retailers soon.

Just wanted to let everyone know that MyPCMod has gotten a new server. This new server can handle tons more load and has a lot more bandwidth and a faster uplink port so everything should run smoother. That is why the updates slowed down for a bit but now everything is back on track!
