MyPCMod.com is a website dedicated to PC Modders who want to show off their rigs. MyPCMod allows users to easily register and then post their pc mods. Each PC Modder can show off multiple mods. After you are registered as a PC Modder, you can review and rate other rigs as well as your own! Posting your pc mod involves going through our layout and adding the information about your rig as well as adding photographs. We allow you to pimp any part of your rig, and yes, that does include the geeky stuff like your gaming mousepad or your high-end printer ink toner...

I just want to take the time to share some personal opinion. Somewhat recently with Firefox 3 being released I have noticed it now repeatedly crashes for me. At first I thought one of my amazing add-ons just had some sort of compatibility issue and was causing everything. However, I then noticed the same issues at my work computer, and then my parents call me to say that Firefox just won't stop crashing. I haven't found a cause of this however it does seem to be completely random. I can never recreate the issue and pin down something that could be causing it. So in the meantime, I guess I will be trying that new Chrome out. Lets hope that Mozilla foundation doesn't start to go downhill with unstable updates.

Just wanted to update everybody on the web site. I have added some features and have more in the works. Here are the current changes:
- Gallery now shows thumbnails of the mods.
- On the left side of the page you will see "Recent Posts" which is the latest posts on the forums.
- A poll has also been added to the menu.
- The downloads section has been updated. Now you can find some great software for your pc mods. Also if you know of more software please let me know!

I have many more upgrades and features on the way including some bug fixes and more integration with the message boards. We are getting closer to making this the best place for modders to hang out and show those mods.

Real Networks RealDVDThere have been many DVD copying programs come and go over the years. Some for legal reasons and some for usability reasons. RealNetworks is going to be releasing a program called "RealDVD" which will allow you to copy movies entirely including the extras and even artwork from the box. The program will cost $30. Only time will tell if this media company will succeed in the fine lines of DVD copying software.

GTA IV on PCWell guys it looks like Rockstar Games has officially announced that GTA IV will be coming out for the PC. The game is now released for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 and is selling like hotcakes. All of you anti console people can now be up with the trendy Grand Theft Auto series. They have confirmed that the PC version of the game will feature multiplayer modes and I'm sure all of the modding community will help make it even better. The release dates are set for November 18 for the United States and November 21 for Europe. Oh, and I must not forget to mention that sadly Mac users will be left out in this series, no worries though you still don't get viruses...

As you can all tell MyPCMod has a new style and mascot. I hope you all like the new feel. It's much easier to navigate and gives us more room for content. We are still tweaking a few small areas but overall the layout is about finished. If you notice any major bugs please e-mail me. I also would like to hear any comments on the new look!

I felt like doing something special today, so I showed my appreciation for MyPCMod by etching it into the side of my computer.
